Costa Cruises
The Costa fleet may be part of the Carnival Corporation but its slogan ‘Cruising Italian Style’ is borne out in everything from food to décor, from excursions to art
There is a very European atmosphere and French, German, Russian and Dutch passengers are to be found in large numbers on Costa cruises, along with Italian, and English speaking ones.
This cruise line also features Mediterranean-influenced dining and good Italian wines, and a focus on good food and no particular rush to finish eating. Dining times are later than most Americans and many Europeans expect and entertainment may be conducted primarily in Italian, or in four or five languages sequentially, so be prepared for either – what you won’t get as a cruise passenger with Costa is pure English-language shows or competitions.
