Re: Facilities
yes, me and my husband are in our later years, but still enjoy plenty of physical and sports related activities whilst we are on our holidays!
ive found there is always plenty to do for every age range on cruises.

Re: Facilities
Ah, you're talking about the sneak preview of Freedom of the Seas which does indeed have bungee jumping, as RCI say, 'tweaked' to work on a cruise ship - my guess is there will be a gantry out from the lido deck and you'll be able to bungee over the side, in suitable weather, to just above the sea surface.
I don't know that bungee jumping is age related, many 'silver surfers' seem to go in for pretty extreme activities and the sixty year olds I've seen riding the surf machines on cruise liners are as mad about it as their grandkids, but yes, given that older people have more money and more time to spend on holiday than ever before, it does seem a bit shortsighted if cruise companies neglect to give them what THEY want, in favour of pleasing a smaller target market of younger travellers.
What would you really like to see on a cruise ship, AlwaysCruising? I'd love to see a liner that had footspas for hire, so you could give your feet a lovely soak and pamper when you come out of the gym or back from pounding the decks!
