Christmas 2010 in the Antarctic

The Veendam Antarctic cruise sails three times in 2010. The cruises starting December 21st and January 30th depart from Valparaiso and end in Rio de Janeiro, while the January 10th cruise reverses the itinerary.

These cruises offer a great blend of exotic ports with strong cultural aspects such as dance and music with scenic cruising that offers wildlife views unparalleled at this time of year. There are stops in Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas, Chile, as well as Ushuaia, Argentina and the rounding of Cape Horn allows the ship to explore Antarctica for three days. The return journey visits Stanley, Falkland Islands, Buenos Aires and Montevideo, Uruguay.
