After the debacle of Southampton’s cruise parking slowdown last week, and the ongoing delays that can be expected due to building works on the West Quay which will cause lane closures for the next few months, more people are looking at Harwich, Essex, for a cruise embarkation point.
Some cruise lines offer free parking at the port, but others don’t, check with your agent which is the case – the daily charges is £6.50 and the parking is right next to the cruise terminal with a good number of porters and wheeled trolleys always available.
