Holland America New Ship Plans

2010 will be an exciting year for Holland America, and the person saying so is Richard Meadows, Executive Vice President of Holland America Line. He adds that "With six premium ships sailing throughout Europe and an extensive selection of itineraries, guests can select their dream cruise."

The cause of a lot of this excitement is Nieuw Amsterdam who will make her debut on July 4th 2010, joining Eurodam who debuted in 2008. Like Eurodam who has 11 passenger decks, and a Pan-Asian restaurant and lounge surrounded by panoramic views, Nieuw Amsterdam exploits the combination of intimacy and luxury available on mid-sized cruise ships. Nieuw Amsterdam will have a ten day inaugural Collectors' Voyage followed by taking a range of classic 12 day Mediterranean cruises
