While Ocean Village might be disappearing in 2010 it’s not ceasing to come up with new ideas to persuade people to sign up for its cruises.
Peculiarly, the OV line, which is famous for its ultra-casual style, has come up with a new wheeze which features the opposite of casual. It’s called the Big Night Out and means that on every cruise, on both ships, with have a naming ceremony! A Godmother will be chosen during every cruise through a random pick by the Captain, and she will then name the ship, and break a bottle of champagne against a mock-up of the ship’s bow and then everybody parties!
