Windstar Winter Cruise Deals

Windstar Cruises may be one of the world’s smallest cruise lines, but it offers some big cruise experiences – the cruise vessels are classed as yachts, rather than liners, which allows the passengers to visit small harbours and hidden coves and bays which larger vessels can’t even begin to approach. And, of course, those fantastic billowing computer-controlled sails offer something really special – a sense of what it was like to be at sea in the age of wind power, without any of the discomfort or inadequacy of that historic period. And everybody who travels on this cruise line comments on the quality of service you receive – on such a small vessel, a cruise passenger’s likes and dislikes, quirks and preferences are very swiftly learned by the crew and so sailing becomes a very personal and satisfying process.

Wind Spirit can accommodate 148 passengers and is offering a seven day roundtrip cruise to and from St Martin, calling at St. Kitts, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda and St. Barts in January and February 2010.

The larger Wind Surf, which carries 312 passengers has a similar seven day round trip cruise but sailing to and from Bridgetown, Barbados calling on its northbound journey at St. Kitts, Nevis, St.Martin, St. Barts, Guadeloupe, Iles des Saintes and St. Lucia and on its southbound route at Bequia, Dominica, St. Lucia, Mayreau, Grenada and Tobago between late January and mid March 2010.
