I knew Artemis wasn't going to be a standard P&O experience, because she's an older ship and I had read some iffy reviews. My experience was very much like theirs, I'm afraid to say. The ship herself is lovely, great lines, easy to get around and the full day and a bit in Copenhagen made this a brilliant cruise for my purposes: doing my Christmas shopping in the winter market there, which is a real gem. But the food was so very predictable and not often hot, and the staff were more efficient than friendly. All in all, a good cruise if you can entertain yourself and know what you want to do during your shore days, but not as good as travelling on Aurora or Oceana, by a long chalk.
