Celebrity is a great line if you like a more formal dining approach. As I get fed up with buffets where there is almost nothing for vegetarians, this was a wonderful opportunity for me to pig out! The crew were attentive and very pleasant and the entertainment was great - I've read reviews where people complained about the entertainment but with shows over an hour long and good musicians in bars and clubs, I can't imagine what their standards must be like - perhaps they expected Frank Sinatra? There are a few places where Galaxy shows her age: some of the windows are hazed due to age, and some of the routing through the ship is less than good so that you end up wondering whether you are fore or aft, port or starboard as it can all look very much alike, but the refurbishment she's due to have should solve all that, I assume. The ports were great and it was wonderful to get some winter sun without being hassled by timeshare salespeople or having to contend with a thousand Germans staking out deckchairs! There was only one downside - flying to Atlanta for the cruise was an insane idea, it must have taken 24 hours for my six foot plus hubby to get his spine to straighten out! It's a really long flight and not at all good jet-lag wise.
