WE HAVE JUST RETURNED BACK FROM THE ISLAND ESCAPE CRUISE IN THE MED. I WAS VERY NERVOUS BEFORE GOING, DUE TO SOME OF THE REVIEWS AND THE FACT IT WAS MY FIRST CRUISE. IN SHORT, WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND LOTS OF CHOICE FOR ALL TASTES. THE OASIS RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT,WELL WORTH A VISIT AND THE EXTRA SURCHARGE. THE STAFF AT ALL LEVELS ARE EXTREMELY HARD WORKING AND VERY VERY FRIENDLY. CABIN WAS BASIC BUT VERY CLEAN AND ADEQUATE FOR US (YOU ARE NOT IN YOUR CABIN ALL DAY). WE DID OUR OWN EXCURSIONS SO THAT SAVED MONEY, BUT SOME WERE VERY GOOD APPARENTLY. THE ACTIVITIES ON BOARD WERE VERY VARIED, THERE WAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. THE MAIN BAND "PINK PANTHER" WERE NOT VERY GOOD THOUGH, THEY WERE QUITE SEMI PRO. APART FROM THAT I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CRUISE SHIP TO EVERYONE. THERE WAS NOT NEED TO OVERDRESS UNLIKE SOME OTHER CRUISE SHIPS. IT WAS VERY VERY RELAXED AND WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING.

W e have been on island escape twice and both times have had a great holiday,ok cabins are small but adequate everything else just as good as other ships best thing no snobbery onboard unlike some other cruise lines.
