I've got to say that Norwegian is a great line for family cruises, I don't know if RCI (we've booked with them later this year) can match what they offered the kids on this cruise. We flew to New York which I don't recommend unless you're sure your kiddies are good at travel, my five year old was sooo airsick! On board though it all calmed down, and the Freestyle dining was great, no hassles with wehre to eat or when, the kids loved it and that made my life easier. The ports we visited were San Juan, Tortola, and Samana - for Tortola you have to do the Dolphin Discovery, it's amazing a real experience! The eight year old loved kids club but the five year old not so much so, being a bit clingier, but that worked out fine because she loved the pool and the kddies pool area is great, it has a baby area so little kids can play safely while the older ones mess around in the jets and slides and stuff.
