The main pool is one of Carnival Destiny's most popular features – it carries a 214 foot long water slide! Topless sunbathing is allowed in a secluded section near the main funnel. Camp Carnival has its own outdoor kiddies pool on this ship.
Destiny is a really big ship, just outside the superliner category, carrying 3,360 passengers, and this can mean that it’s difficult to find peace and quiet, especially as she seems to have a higher proportion of public announcements than usual. Some passengers feel she’s showing her age a little, but others think her intensive port-a-day schedule suits them perfectly.
Imagine how many fun places we were able to create for you on a ship that's as long as three football fields. For starters, you can jump into your choice of three pools (the fourth one's for the kiddies). You can barrel down a water slide, participate in poolside games, or just relax with a tropical drink (we'll even throw in the umbrella).
Inside, the dining rooms, health spa and dance club are two stories high. On the ship's main boulevard one of the many clubs and lounges is sure to be playing your kind of music. And just imagine the fun you'll have ashore: golfing in St. Thomas; visiting Mount Pelee volcano in Martinique; afternoon tea and shopping in Barbados; or sun worshipping on one of Aruba's magnificent beaches.
