The Summit, like her sister ships, has had problems in the past with her innovative (and often uncooperative) propulsion systems. Be aware that cruises have been cancelled in the past! However, there are real joys to this cruise liner, notably a 25,000 square foot AquaSpa – possibly one of the two or three largest at sea, under a dome with a free thalassotherapy pool. Alongside it, AquaSpa Cafe serves light dishes for breakfast and lunch. This is a rare Celebrity Ship where children are fully catered for, the Fun Factory offers a puzzle wall, play area, computer games section, movie room and crafts area plus a broadcast room and video game arcade. The Tower is the teen club and disco – in fact the only one in the Millennium-class series of ships – and so from four to sixteen, your children will be amused from morning to night – including sleepovers in the Factory itself.
