The Island Cruise element of Royal Caribbean Cruises caters very deliberately for the young and the young at heart

Offering lots of chances to mingle, entertainment that is at least half provided by fellow passengers getting up and doing their thing. From 2007 First Choice plc merged with travel company TUI to become the TUI Travel Group. This company has its 50% stake in Island Cruises and Royal Caribbean RCL maintaining the other 50% The fleet now sails in the Mediterranean during the hot summer and to date has spent the cold winter in the great tropical waters of Brazil. However from Dec 08 they are expanding their offering with Caribbean cruise itineraries being introduced on the Island Star in the winter to give the customers more choice & provide even more exciting & diverse year-round cruise holidays.
