Ocean Village Cruises

Ocean Village holidays pride themselves on not having any of the ‘stuffiness’ that can be associated with traditional cruises

Instead the concept focuses on casual dress, sporty activities, eating when you please, and entertainment provided by stand-up comics and rock groups. Casual is key – not a sing restaurant has a dress code and there are no formal evenings, so this is the perfect cruise line for carefree travellers. One key feature of this line though, is NO CABIN SERVICE, and so, while you can make tea and coffee, there’s no dining in your cabin. Food on this line ranges from the superbly up-market (in The Bistro) to what is often described by reviewers as ‘canteen-style’ in the self-service restaurants, so be sure before you travel that you can afford to eat upscale if you get fed up with the lesser options!

Ocean Village 2

This ship carries much of the same ambience, and even the same bar and restaurant names as her older sister.
